The Details:

Participants need to be age 15 and up.
I'm sorry we cannot accommodate younger kids.

You will be assigned 3 people.

You will make a card OR buy a card AND/OR write a letter to each person.

Ideally, 3 different people will get your name. Potentially you could have 6 penpals...

There's always the chance your "send to" and "receive from" list will have an even match. In that case, you'd get 5 unique penpals. Two matches? 4 pen pals...etc. etc.

Here's an example:

Pamela sends to----Billy, Sarah, Tony
Pamela receives from----Laura, Marie, Jennifer

That would equal 6 unique pairings.

Another:

Pamela sends to----Billy, Sarah, Tony
Pamela receives from---Billy, Laura, Jennifer

That would equal 5 unique pairs...and so on.

Let's talk about what you send.
1. Keep communication positive.
You may take great joy in doomsday jokes, but they can be pretty hard on others.

2. No political jokes, political memes, political opinions.

3. Keep things rated G or PG for any communication to or between young adults (15-20).

4. You can write a simple letter, you can make a lovely card, you can buy a card.
We are primarily a group of "makers", so creativity and artistic expression is encouraged, but I want to give the non-creatives an option.

People often have trouble receiving the assignment email from me.
The assignments are mailed from a web service provider, not exactly ME per se, so
your email may flag it as spam.

To fix this: add AuntPammysVEX@workmail.com to your email contact list.
Another thing that works is for you to send ME an initial email to "teach" your account that
we aren't spam...
So, send me an email before May 30 just to say "hi".

Your commitment is to send each of your 3 people one card/letter.
If you choose to continue to correspond with your people, fantastic!
But your obligation is just the one initial card.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact me directly:AuntPammysVEX@workmail.com

Sincerely,

Pamela
aka Aunt Pammy
