The Valentine Exchange was created in 2015 when I stumbled on another Valentine exchange being run in the midwest. The woman's name was Aunt Peaches and she had over 1700 participants. I was thrilled to find such a thing! My glee turned to dismay when I realized I was participating in the LAST exchange this woman was running. After 7 years, she was shutting down. I was crushed. I quickly reached out on Facebook, adopted the "Aunt Pammy" nom de plume and soon had 20 of my friends agreeing to send a secret Valentine to an assigned recipient. We had great success and the Aunt Pammy enterprise was born. Every year in early January, people sign up to send Valentines to a random list of recipients. In turn, they can expect to get the same number of Valentines, more or less.
